Leave a Comment on Homepage Still There..

Hello,

I followed the directions to remove this as posted here: http://en.support.wordpress.com/enable-disable-comments/

However, the 'Leave a Comment' box is still displaying on the homepage. Any ideas?

Are you sure you changed this option as well? http://en.support.wordpress.com/enable-disable-comments#enabledisable-comments

Yes, all comment functions have been disabled in the site settings.

Just took a look and it seems this option was still checked on the homepage: http://en.support.wordpress.com/enable-disable-comments#enabledisable-comments

I unchecked it, and the comment box is no longer there :)

Best way to do this is to go to "Pages" and click "Quick Edit" under each page - then you'll see the Comments options, which you can uncheck.

I had the same problem (which is now resolved, thank you very much!). I didn't realize there was an uncheck box in the Quick Edit section (because I hadn't used the Quick Edit options). Thank you!
