Hi there. We’ve come across an error with LearnDash and their support says because the error only shows up when GeneratePress is activated, to seek your help in resolving.
The issue is that when a user logs into their account, they are met with “No Courses Found” error. But you can see in this screenshot (https://www.dropbox.com/s/ivd4sflf4hzwr3d/staging-loggedin-error-GeneratePress.png?dl=0) that the course is underneath.
When we change the theme to Twenty-Twenty-Two, it resolves itself (https://www.dropbox.com/s/ffasi6k17dmuzac/staging-loggedin-error-TwentyTwenty2-edit.jpg?dl=0). We’re not sure why 2 other courses the user doesn’t have access to is also showing up, but we’re hoping that’s related to the error bug.
We are trying to resolve this on a staging version of the site. We are happy to provide login details privately if you would like to investigate.

Thanks David!
I shall send that to ya now. It will be on staging, with GeneratePress activated so you can see the url.
It is staging so feel free and safe to muck about however you please!
Much appreciated.

StaffCustomer SupportHi there,
I logged in, and it seems the courses are showing correctly with GP as an active theme.
https://www.screencast.com/t/qUhuo0h9Do you know how to replicate this issue?

Thanks Ying. I think it may be a bug for regular users/course takers. That user I gave was originally admin. I’ve just downgraded to Customer and only gave access to 1 course. Can you check again?
I just tested with a Customer user and not admin and I get the ‘course not found’ issue, but not if I’m logged in as Admin. Sorry for the confusion on that. Hopefully you see the bug now!

Gosh, I’m not getting it either now. Let me get another person on the team with a similar access level to test on the live site to see if there’s a difference between testing and live. I shall update as soon as I can!

Hmm, it seems persistent on live. I suppose the next step would be to compare the various versions of plugins and themes between the two to see why live is still giving the error? Or if you know of any other way to quickly compare two versions of a site in regards to this particular bug?

Thanks David, creds given. Appreciate your dedication on this! Of all the bits and bobs to LearnDash, who thought the bug would be such a doom and gloom error that isn’t true? Haha.

StaffCustomer SupportHmmm… well thats a tough one.
As when i am logged in as the Admin, the that Alert Notice isn’t visible. Only when logged in as a Learner. My gut feeling is its a caching issue.
As a note: switching themes would be a significant enough change to the sites code to bust a cache. Is it possible to disable the cache plugins and any server side caches ?

Hi David. Web host did as requested. Error remains.
“(WP Rocket) was disabled for logged in users. That said, I’ve disabled it anyways – always good to remove things for testing. The website does not have server side caching enabled.”
