Lazy Load Images Conflict With Lightweight Grid Columns

Hello, I'm having a spacing issue with LGC when lazy load images is enabled. The issue is the same as described in this thread - large amounts of white space are added under images. I added equal_heights="false" to the LGC shortcode like Tom suggested - and that solution worked to fix the extra whitespace. However, there is now lots of image height issues.
I'm wonder if there is a way to remove the code that's conflicting with lazy load without disabling the equal_heights function? Like so many users - I love this plugin and really don't want to switch to Gutenberg. Thanks!
Hi there,
I think the best solution would be to exclude the images in LGC from lazy loading.
The float/grid method in LGC is really an old way of creating columns.

Gutenberg definitely takes some getting used to but it's the future.
Have you tried out GenerateBlocks plugin? The grid blocks works a lot better than LGC:

Thanks Leo - maybe I will invest some time and look into these new options..

No problem :)
