Layout Panel in Gutenberg Editor
6 replies · Started by Janine on February 23, 2021
Hi.
Why has the Layout panel moved from the right side of the page to the bottom in the editor?
And how can I get it back on the right side?
See screenshots.
Thank you.
Hi Janine,
I guess you accidently clicked the up arrow beside Layout.
Just click the down arrow couple times, it should go back to where it's from.
Hi, Ying.
Hmm. When I click the down arrow, it moves Layout panel up and down, but it does not take it back to the right side of the editor under Page Attributes.
Thank you.
I logged out and then logged back in. That seemed to do the trick. But I still not sure how that works.
Well when there's more than 1 panel at the bottom, it seems there's no way to drag them back to the side, I think it's a WP Gutenberg bug which they need to fix.
The workaround is installing Classic editor plugin, once it's activated, you can drag the panels to wherever you want, then you can disable or delete the plugin if you don't need it anymore.
Your way seems working well too :)
Thanks, Ying, for the clarification.
You are welcome Janine :)
