Layout options do not work on main blog page

Hi,

In Layout options, there are various settings for siderbars, disable elements, footers, etc.
These all work properly on all pages EXCEPT the blog page (the main page that displays posts). On that page only, none of these controls work. I cannot change the sidebar layout, disable elements, or anything else.
Hi Michael,
you set the Sidebar options for the blog page in the Customiser > Layout > Sidebars.
There are other options also under Layout > Blog
What other elements do you need to disable for the blog?

Just a note a that WordPress ignores all metabox values on index pages (blog, archive etc) by default which is why none of those options are working.
We can definitely help you out with some code if you need to disable anything else :)
