Erin
Hello,
I have been building a sales landing page for the last week and all of the sudden today, I am experiencing some odd layout issues with the grid as well as full width containers.
Steps I have taken so far:
Updated all plugins
Disabled Caching
Cleared browser cache
Pulled site down to local (my current hosting provider is having technical issues today)
Disabled all plugins
Actviated Generate Blocks and GeneratePress (both running the latest versions)
Verified Page width is set to full
Cleared CSS in the GenerateBlock SettingsBut the issue is still there.
If you scroll down to the bottom sections (sorry its a long sales page)…Under “your ready set grow membership includes” and the check mark sections…then the very bottom with the testimonials and green image background.
Any ideas?

StaffCustomer SupportHi Erin,
The check mark section has some structure issues, the 2nd and 3rd check marks are under the same Grid container, I think they supposed to be in different Grid Containers, you might’ve accidently dragged the blocks in editor:

Btw the site looks nice!

Yes, I saw that issue too. But I built the checkmark sections as separate grid containers. I have repeated this 3x and the next day it shows up like it is now.

StaffCustomer SupportIt’s not possible for GB or GP to alter the HTML by itself.

Ok, I understand that. I am not looking to edit the HTML or expecting that. What I am asking is, why does it keep happening? I build out the grid with the proper container format in WordPress and it looks correct, laid out in 3 columns. But then a few hours later it goes back to the way it is now.
What do you suggest I do??
What is causing it?
How do I fix it?

And by the way, it looks like it is supposed in the WordPress Editor…3 columns.

StaffCustomer SupportI’ve never heard about this issue, no idea why it happens and it doesn’t make any sense to me.
Based on your other Grid settings, I can tell that you know what you are doing.
Can’t really give you any advice on this.
Does your site has any other user can edit the pages?

StaffCustomer SupportAnd by the way, it looks like it is supposed in the WordPress Editor…3 columns.
Do you mean in the editor, it’s in 3 columns?
If that’s the case, can you share admin access to your site so we can take a look at the backend?

How do I share admin access with GeneratePress support?
March 31, 2022 at 12:34 pm #2173966Ying
StaffCustomer SupportYou can enter the login detail in the private info field which can only be seen by the support team.

I have shared the admin access now. I also tried to make a container that is set to display only on mobile and it keeps happening, evening though I am building like I always do. (Its the same section with the checkmarks, but will have to view it on a screen that is max of 768)
In WordPress Admin, you can see that the grids and containers in the layout view are dispersed and designed appropriately. One is not underneath the other.
Also, worth noting I have designed this page on local with all other plugins deactivated except Generate Press and Generate Blocks but the issue keeps happening.

StaffCustomer SupportI’m not seeing the admin access being added.
Can you make sure?
