I have a custom post type that has been created through a plugin and I am applying a Layout Element to show the right sidebar on all single posts. I have set the conditions to display to all single posts of that custom post type but for some reason, the layout is not being applied. It still shows the full-width layout with no sidebars as being applied from the Customizer.

    What could be preventing it?

    Hi George,

Do you happen to have another Layout Element that might be conflicting?

No, I only have two header elements, Leo. I deactivated them temporarily, still same issue.

Could it be the specific custom post type is missing something?

What happens if you set the Sidebar to display site wide ?
Try via the Customizer and via the Elements > Entire Site.

    Customizer sitewide:
The sidebar displays everywhere apart from the CPT archive and its single posts

Sidebar sitewide from the Layout element (with Customizer sidebar both activated and deactivated):
    Same behavior

Ok, I think the plugin has a sidebar functionality that overrides the Elements. I will play around with it and come back or close the ticket!

    …and sorted.

    Thanks!
