Anthony
I can’t seem to figure out why my Layout Element isn’t removing the Featured Image when I disable Featured Images
The post is here: https://www.cukebook.org/ingredients/fruits/apples/
For display rules, I put Post Category > Ingredients and I made sure there weren’t any other layout elements that were associated with posts.
EDIT: I seem to be having the same problem with Sidebars. I’m trying to use the same display rules as mentioned above, but the element is not affecting the Ingredients category.
Thanks in advance,

StaffCustomer SupportHi there,
Do you have any caching plugins enabled? If so can you clear and disable them to test first?
If that doesn’t work, do you have any other layout elements added?
If yes, can you set the status of all other layout elements to draft and see if this works?
Let me know π

I’ve switched all other layout elements to draft without luck.
I don’t have any caching going on besides object cache which I cleared.
EDIT: Instead of disabling the featured image using a Layout Element, I figured I instead would try to Hook into that post category and add some css to alter the featured image and even that isn’t working. So strange all my other elements seem to work
Thanks Leo

StaffCustomer SupportSounds good.
I’m happy to take a look and see why that element is not working if you can provide the dashboard access π

Sure thing,
I’ve provided login details.
It’s the elements with “Ingredients” in the names
Thanks, Leo

StaffCustomer SupportI don’t actually see a post listed directly under the Ingredients category:
https://www.screencast.com/t/0nxjn8okFu0aWhat if you use the Fruits as the category display rules?

Wow huh lol
I was under the impression setting the ingredients category would take care of everything underneath ingredients.
Makes sense now!
Thanks Leo!
