Layout -> Disable Elements -> Content Title no effect

Hi there,

the Dev site uses several GP Elements including Block Element - Page Hero:

Go to Appearance > Elements or use the Elements menu item in the Admin Bar to view them.

There are 3 x Page Hero Block Elements

Blog Page Header - specifically for the Blog Page.
Blog Posts Headers - specifically for the single posts
Global Page Headers - for all static Pages excluding the Home Page ( Front Page ).

Any pages or post you create will have those elements assigned to them.
Choices, you can edit the relevant Element and set the Display Rules > Exclusions to remove the pages you don't want it to apply to OR you can delete those elements if you don't require them on your site.

Thank you. But that didn't answer my question: why doesnt the Disable Element toggle work?

If the content title was added by a block element, disabling content title from the LAyout meta box or Layout Element won't work.

That's because Disable element can only remove elements that are added through the theme's default layout. For Content element, it can only remove h1 entry-title added by the theme.

Elements added from a Block element can't be removed because these elements are manually added by users.

Dev's post title for the single post pages is an example of this.

Are you using a block element - page hero for the title on shop/product archive page and single product page?

If so, you can simply disable the title in theblock element - page hero:

If you want to share the link privately then start a new Topic and you can then use the Private Information field.
