Hi, I just updated the theme, but now the menu will not stay at the top as it used to. Please let me know how to fix it. Thanks!

    Hi there,

What do you mean by “stay on top”? Is it stickied to the top of the site? If so, are you using one of our child themes, or did you do it yourself?

Have you tried clearing your browser cache? And perhaps your caching plugin if you have one?

    Let me know 🙂

I mean, when scrolling page down, the menu bar would become slightly transparent but always stay at the top no matter how far down you scroll the content. After the update, the menu scrolls with content (disappears when scrolling to bottom of page).

I dont have any caching plugins….

Perfect example is in your video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w5x-mAg1zoc&list=PLqtZXI7BAK1y-lTJQPmvRBOjHKu3yHiwA&t=14). When you scroll, the menu stays at the top of the screen. For some reason after the update this is no longer happening on my end…

Are you using one of our child themes? Or did you set up the sticky nav by yourself?

Can you link me to your site?

Hmm, well the default theme doesn’t actually have a sticky navigation.

This post should help you add it: http://generatepress.com/forums/topic/keep-menus-visable-with-scroll/#post-54453
