Hello,
On my site https://www.findlr.com/ I want to have both dynamic content and static content on my homepage, but I can’t seem to find any option on how to do it.
I made a static page and put that page to be shown as the front page and it works to show a description of my site, but it does not work to show the latest articles from my blog. Before this, I had used other themes and they had some kind of option to include both dynamic and static content on the homepage, already build-in.

for that we would recommend using the WP Show Posts plugin:
That will allow you to add your Post lists to a static page.
