[Resolved] Last Blog Post on homepage

Hello,

I am creating my first website using GP Premium so I am not so used to it.
So on the homepage I would like to know if it’s possible to appear a slider or some content and under it the latest post on the blog. It is possible? If so, how can I do it?

I have tried to do it by putting the “blog” page as the home page, but that’s not want I want.
