Lag when working with new wp widgets

Hi,
Since WP implemented their new widget system, I am experiencing a major lag in the GP customization panel.
I wanted to know if there is any way to solve this without having to use plugins like "Classic Widgets".

Is this issue of delay in the update of the edition is a problem of the theme (GP) or of WP?
Will GP take into account this problem to be able to work with the new widgets?

I personally haven't seen that issue, but then i generally don't work with widgets in the customizer, i prefer the Admin panel, and i also remove the Block Widgets on a lot of sites as not all plugins work correctly with it.
We'll do some performamnce tests to see if there is anything that can be done... but its a Core function, so it really is down to WP to improve.
