Craig
Hi! I have couple of issues with Memberpress courses integration.
1st issue is I’m not able to see my custom header or hooks to the courses archive. Despite Courses Archive being an option in the Display Rules ‘Location’ drop-down. Is it just not compatible?
2nd is I have raw HTML of the slidout menu appearing on the courses and course archive pages under the footer. I have tried the suggestion here : https://generatepress.com/forums/topic/conflict-between-gp-premium-and-memberpress/
but it hasn’t worked for me (added the code snippet to my functions in child theme). Of course I can hide is with CSS but wondered if you had any suggestions? Thanks!

StaffCustomer SupportHi there,
For the first issue:
Can you share how you’ve added this? So we could have a better picture of what’s supposed to appear.
For the second issue:
I’m not sure I fully understand what you’re trying to do. Can you explain a bit more on how you want things to appear/function? Let us know. 🙂

1st issue : Sure
Elements- Add new element – Header – Location: Course Archive (doesn’t show)
Elements- Add new element – Hook (some html)- generate_after_header – Location: Course Archive (no show)2nd issue I did share the URL in the private information section. I have added it again. Basically if you look in the footer area of the courses page (see 1st URL in private info) you will see there is a raw HTML menu. It’s the generatepress generate-slideout-menu. It shouldn’t be there.
Thanks!

StaffCustomer SupportHi there,
the Elements module – Hooks or Header Element only apply to Theme templates. It looks as though MemberPress is using its own templates where the GP Hooks are not present.
Can you check with MemberPress if they include Hooks in their templates, as they could be set using the Custom Hook option in Elements.

Thanks David. I have emailed memberpress and I’ll let you know if they come back with anything that could be useful.
Any suggestion regarding the broken navigation appearing in the footer issue in the meantime? For now I’m just hiding the menu with CSS, this is fine but perhaps there is a better way? Tried sticking this PHP nugget (verbatim – did I need to amend it some way?) in the functions – https://generatepress.com/forums/topic/conflict-between-gp-premium-and-memberpress/ but didn’t seem to have any effect.
Thanks

StaffCustomer SupportJust to make sure, you’ve tried the snippet here?
https://generatepress.com/forums/topic/nextgen-results-in-primary-menu-lood-in-after-footer/#post-533038If that doesn’t work then you should check with their support as well.

OK, egg on my face! I had tried the above snippet before and it didn’t work. This time around it has so obviously I did something wrong. Thanks for your help and sorry for taking up your time unnecessarily.
Interestingly I now have a broken GDPR consent plugin appearing in the footer too which I have had to hide using CSS in a Hook into wp_head. Clearly this is just an issue I’ll need to keep my eye on.
Cheers!
