    hi,

    thanks for GP and GB,

i’m having an issue with hooked element.

I tried to hook an element after the header. The element show first time. When i edit it and update, the update don’t take effect.

After that, when i tried to change the location, the element was not showing at all. I tried with all pages to be sure, it’s not showing.

    Update on this:

I tried to delete and recreate the hook. On the page in the admin bar, it says the hook is active, but it’s not showing.

Update: when i set this to all pages, it shows on other pages. The issue is only with this page apparently.

Update: the issue seems apparently with front page, i had to force it to set on front page.

I think talso he issue was that i was using pages with categories (since it’s not active by default in wordpress), the updates were not taking effect. I had to change the location to all pages and then reselect the category pages.

    Hi there,

The topic is marked as resolved.

Sounds like you’ve found a solution?

Yes. For some reason, it’s working fine now without reselecting the location.

    Hi again,

I rechecked this, there’s indeed an issue with hooked elements when you set the location on pages category upon updating the element.

I checked the cache, css optimization settings, and it’s not that.

It updated when i set the location on the page itself.

Sorry for the back and forth,

upon re-check it seems the issue is a conflict with some optimization settings.
