I would like to do the same thing – remove the “Powered by GeneratPress text”. I have reviewed the documentation and tried to make entries in tbe Copyright box, BUT it just erases all the information there out (2020 copyright symbol. Powered by Generate Press) and shows whatever I am typing in. Please I am not code savvy at all. Please help.

Not sure if I fully understand. The copyright box is supposed to display whatever you are typing in.
Can you let me know what you are trying to achieve here?
I am trying to remove the text – “Powered by Generatepress”
Then just entered this in the field:
© 2020 Business Process ImprovementOh! I was selectively trying to remove the words Powered by Generate Press when all it required was your easy fix. Thanks for the resolution.
