[Resolved] Issue Applying Effects on Image

Hi,

When I apply a Greyscale effect on an SVG image it seems to be working fine. However, if I try to apply any kind of effects (Sepia or Greyscale) on an image that is black, it doesn’t work.

Would you happen to know why that is?

Take a look at this link, scroll to the bottom and see the bottom right and bottom left “Sony” logos. One is colour and effects can be applied, while the other is black and effects can’t be applied.

This is a pure CSS question, it’s not related to the theme or GB, I would suggest do some Google research on this 🙂

Looks like you can’t apply Greyscale to a black image. I opted to use Opacity to achieve the same effect.
