So if you used the Code Snippets plugin can you still see the piece of code added in the list? If so is it saved and activated?

I will try it again but yes I could always go back and see the code.

Looks like you're using some post plugins on the site - the code provided will only work on the GP Blog archives. If its not working then maybe a plugin is causing a conflict.

I uninstalled and reinstalled the code snippet plugin and it is working now.
