Is there a way to my the authors pic right below the featured image before the content as in the screenshot below?

This seems to have stopped working for me when I switched themes but them I switched back. I made no changes. The PHP is in there and so is the CSS.
Any suggestions?
I'm still seeing a site that's not using GP.

I may just switch themes again that already show the authors like that. I can't figure this out.
How are you adding the PHP?
Can you disable all caching plugins so I can inspect the code?
Using code snippet I believe
Disabled the caching plugins
Maybe I need to use a different plugin for the PHP?
