Is there a better solution than Gallery+Lightbox to achieve a pop-up picture?

Hi GP Team!
I'd like to achieve a pop-up window when clicking the picture. In 2022, your suggestion is Gallery + Lightbox plugin. Please check the below half-built site.
Is there a better solution now? Thank you.

I don't believe there is a better solution.
Perhaps there is a gallery plugin that also offers lightbox functionality now?
If not then I found a few:

My recommendation would be to try as many solutions as you can and determine which one works for your need the best :)
