Is Release Candidate okay to use v2, please? ;)

GP Premium 2.0.0 is now available for public testing! This is a release candidate, so please do not use it on production websites.
OK, but if I'm building a new site today, how far away from actual release is this v2 REALLY? It looks too good to not start a new build with, knowing it'll be live for probably 5 years.

We are on RC2 now so the official version shouldn't be too far away - hopefully within the next 2 weeks :)
