i want a small image or icon in a circle or square on the side at my recent messages block.

or you can see a piece of the header from the blog page in a circle or square next to the blog title in the recent messages block.

this plugin will allow you to display the Post Thumbnail beside them:

May need some CSS to make them circular – let me know.
