INTRANET SITE

We have a site which going to be for INTRANET use only with out any access to the internet so can we enable GeneratePress and GP Premium in this site so the key can be activated and updated manually for this site.

If the server you're using can communicate with live servers, then activating the key won't be a problem.

If it can't, you'll need to manually update when updates are available.

Hi Tom,

Thanks for your support,so if we disable any communication with the live servers then after activating the GP with the key for the first time GP will STOP asking for the key again in other words will not go for disable mode provided we do the update manually.

If the site can't communicate with live servers, then automatic updates through the Dashboard shouldn't work. This goes for WP updates, plugin updates, theme updates etc..

All updates need to communicate with external servers to know an update exists, and to get the update package.
