Installing premium zip file plugin fails

Installing Theme from uploaded file: gp-premium-1.9.1.zip
Unpacking the package…
Installing the theme…
The package could not be installed. The theme is missing the style.css stylesheet.
Theme installation failed.
This is a brand new wordpress install. Never had this issue before. I downloaded the latest zip file premium download from generate press.
Any solutions?
my mistake - I wastrying to upload the plugin as a theme. Its a plugin so should be uploaded as a plugin. Problem solved

For some reason when I cut and paste the downloaded zip file from the downloads folder to another folder the file was only 13kb and not 809kb as per the original file. I uploaded the 809kb original file directly from the downloads and it worked.

Make sure you are installing the free GeneratePress theme as theme and GP Premium as plugin:
