Installing GP Premium

Hello,
Can't wait to get started with this amazing theme! I have downloaded the gp premium zip file and uploaded it as a plugin. Now it says to activate the add-ones by going to appearance > generate press but this seems to be missing from the appearance section. Do I need to install the regular GP as a theme too?
Update: I installed the GP Premium as a plug in. And I've now installed GeneratePress as the theme from the directory. Now I can activate the GP Premium add-ons. Please let me know if I should be doing anything differently. Can't thank you enough for this theme!!
That's perfect! The GP theme and GP Premium both need to be installed, which is what you've done.
Thanks for your purchase! :)
This was helpful.
It would be even more helpful if this article could be updated:

I was stuck at this part:
GP Premium
If you're using GP Premium, you need to activate the add-ons you wish to use (to avoid loading unnecessary addons).
You can do this in "Appearance > GeneratePress".
GeneratePress was missing from the Appearance menu because GP wasn't installed as a theme. WP noobs like me need to be told that GP has to be installed as a theme. Thanks!
Thanks for the heads up! I'll do that right now :)
Hi Tom,
Good Morning from Seattle. Tom could you assist me on something please. I'm following the instructions of choosing the saving the link as the GP Premuium but when I go to upload the zip file to the wordpress theme I get this message
Unpacking the package…
Installing the plugin…
Could not create directory. /home/shepgakn/public_html/wp-content/plugins/gp-premium/
Plugin installation failed.
Return to Plugin Installer
What can I do to get this plugin uploaded?
Could you help me please?
Thank you,
Pericles
