Install in a subdirectory

Our website coachtrainingedu.com is an javascript based site using React with the blog coachtraininged.com/blog being wordpress based. We're having trouble having Elementor recognize the install in a subdirectory while still trying to use Elementor. My questions are this:
1. Do you have documentation for site installs of wordpress not on the root directory?
2. What documentation do you have to craft blog templates without using Elementor?
3. Any suggestions of resources for installs similar to the one that I'm describing?

1. No - this isn't a theme-specific or a common WordPress issue so we wouldn't have that in our documentation. I would recommend Googling to see if you can find some articles on it.
2. That depends on what you are looking to achieve. Are you trying to replicate the current site?
Are you planning to use the Gutenberg editor?
