initiating the mobile navigation (& logo) at a different width

The above doc doesn't take into when the primary menu has a logo... any css that factors in the menu logo as well?

Not sure what you mean. The code has been working for most users.
Can you link me to your site?
When there's an Navigation Logo uploaded via the customiser the above code doesn't take this into account.
