[Resolved] Initial Download Instructions

Just purchased GP Premium, got email with download link and instructions, and am completely flummoxed. I’m not a techie. Step 1 is done–save to computer. Step 2 is to open Dashboard. I don’t seem to have a Dashboard on my computer despite having googled how to find a Dashboard on a PC. I also don’t particularly want to commit to having things downloaded on this particular computer.

I’m in the middle of a webinar with AWAI on how to set up a website. Later today we go through how to set up things in Bluehost, so I’m not set up there yet. Could it be that my problem is that I’m jumping the queue?

Please advise.

Hi there,

The term “Dashboard” refers to the admin area of your WordPress installation.

So, if you’ve installed WordPress, you can go to yourwebsite.com/wp-admin – this is your Dashboard.

From there, you can follow the rest of the instructions to upload GP Premium: http://generatepress.com/knowledgebase/install-activate-addons/
