information: I would like to create a pagehero with some category tags to facilitate navigation and not bloat the menu. I wanted to ask you since sometimes they seem to be able to perform the same function of connection which of the two systems is better to use.
thank you in advance.November 26, 2022 at 4:36 am #2435460David
StaffCustomer SupportHi there,
either method is good, they both will output an
<a>tag for the link.
i personally prefer using the GB buttons block.November 29, 2022 at 4:03 am #2440726francesco
Thanks David, to avoid excessive distances between one button and another, should I work with the percentages of the container or with the margins of the button?

StaffCustomer SupportI would add (right) margin to the individual button block.

layouts/containers in all devices mode can’t be set to auto? right?

StaffCustomer SupportNot sure what you mean – can you explain a little more ?

certainly, in the different versions ie desktop, tablet and mobile I find different difficulties in achieving the desired effect.
now let me explain:1) as you can see in the first image I’ve created a grid with several containers that contain a button each. this is because it seems to me the only way to set 3 buttons in the first row, thanks to the “auto” setting of the container. using this setting in desktop mode, however, everything is more difficult because it is not possible to set the auto mode of the containers and you have to search for it by hand with various degrees of imperfection.
2) however, everything is solved in desktop mode using simply a grid with two containers with the various buttons inside. in this case, however, in the mobile version everything is crippled and it is impossible for me to modify it.

probably the solution is to create two different blocks? one exclusive for desktop and tablet mode and the other for mobile mode?
or am I doing something wrong?

I don’t know if i’m doing it correctly. but i am using two blocks.. one in the mobile version and the other in the others version. in the mobile, I have this problem:
As you can see, in the editor everything looks offset to me. but instead on customize it appears correct to me. I honestly can’t understand..>

StaffCustomer SupportWhat are you exactly trying to achieve?
I don’t think a Grid Block is needed, you just need to add multiple
buttonblocks within onebuttonsblock.

proceeding as you say, however, I can not align all to the left

StaffCustomer SupportCan you link us to the page where we can see these buttons?

yes

StaffCustomer SupportOK, we first need to fix those margins 🙂
Can you Shift Click + All of the individual Button blocks, you can use the Block List navigation to make that easier.
Now you can apply styles to ALL of them.
In Desktop set ALL of them to have Top 15px and Right 15px.
For Tablet and mobile you can do the same.Let me know when thats done.
