Infinite scroll on single posts (Not archive pages)

Hi team,

I've searched the support forum, and found many requests for infinite scroll on single posts, but none of them seem to contain any solutions.

Are you planning to add this feature in future GPP updates? As none of the infinite scroll plugins seem to work with GPP. (I've tried Catch infinite scroll, and YITH infinite scroll). Or is there an infinite scroll plugin you know that works with GPP?

No plans today to add this functionality into the theme.

Thanks for the reply. I have also looked at Ajax load more, it seems it doesn't always work, according to the following post: https://generatepress.com/forums/topic/question-regarding-infinite-scroll-single-posts/

The issues that arise with adding Ajax loading or any infinite scroll system to a site is the various layouts for each individual sites. That second link i provided shows the requirements of adding that function to a site. They even provide some templates specifically for GeneratePress which you can use as a guide:
