Individualizing the hero image per webpage

Hi. I'm a newbie at GP Pro, coming back to it after a year away from such efforts. How do I set a different hero image on each webpage of my website? Fwiw, I installed the "Mellow" from the Site Library, and have no other plugins installed other than GB. (I did use Elements to update the Home page's hero, but don't understand how to do other pages). Thanks.

Oh, one more thing that's related... If my hero image is sitting in a page container that is only say 1000 pixels wide, then how do I influence the scaling of a hero image within that. As you can see right now on my home page, the hero image is enlarged when actually there is no need for that to occur so much, based on the container dimensions. Thanks.

Is there a way to also load a Retina version of hero images that will automatically appear on Retina screens?
