Inconsistent Listing of blogs on category page

Hi,
On this page: https://attention.cc/category/internet/ you can see "read more" below middle article but not on others?
How do I get rid of the "read more" so that all articles show consistently and how do I get rid of "by attentioncc". I just want to show publication date below each article.
Screenshot of what I want to remove is here: https://share.getcloudapp.com/lluEO7RO
Thank you.
Hi Vladimir,
Starting with the post author, you may remove this by unchecking “Display post author” in Appearance > Customize > Layout > Blog > Content > Archives
With regards to the missing “read more”, are you using a custom excerpt as such?: https://share.getcloudapp.com/ApuJPvy0
Using this removes the “read more” button. To make is show once more, you’ll need to re-activate it through a PHP snippet: https://docs.generatepress.com/article/activating-read-custom-excerpt/#read-more-text
Kindly use the appropriate snippet.
Adding PHP: https://docs.generatepress.com/article/adding-php/#code-snippets
Adding it through Code Snippets should work.
Hope this clarifies! Kindly let us know how it goes. :)
Hi,
Removed author name worked nicely. No, I am not using custom excert on this post from which I am trying to remove "read more" in archives. Here you can see that it is empty: https://share.getcloudapp.com/DOu4JlxR
Now that you know, do the rest of your instructions still stand on how to remove "read more" button. This seems a lot of work and code to remove "read more"...I am confused on how to fix that one.
Can you please review https://share.getcloudapp.com/DOu4JlxR and tell me again how to remove "read more" from archive page now that you know I am not using custom excerpt.
Read More is gone now. Great support. Closing ticket.
Sorry, I misunderstood. Glad you were able to sort it out though! :)
