Where does this inconsistency of the message on the shopping cart come from and how to fix that?

Hi Simon,
This is handled by WooCommerce itself so it should not be a theme issue.
Looking at your other topic, my guess is that there is some sort of conflicts happening on your site.
Please go through the debugging steps as suggested in the other topic.
