Imported settings from site -> can't change logo

I imported settings to my staging site, now I have issues with logo.
The logo from the old site appears whenever I try to change it.

I found a related issue from another user: https://generatepress.com/forums/topic/migration-to-live-site/

I tried the following:

1. Disabled WP rocket
2. Disabled Varnish (server side)
3. Cleaned browser cache and cookies

Issue persists

So the logo I'm seeing is the correct one?

If so that's pretty weird.

Best to ask your host to check if there are any issues with caching etc.

Not sure how it could be a GeneratePress issue if I'm seeing the correct logo.

Will ask Tom to check :)

Are you updating both the regular logo and the retina logo? Both are set, which explains why you're both seeing different logos.

So far I only updated the regular logo
The retina logo is empty and has been untouched since the initial settings import

Thx for the reminder, it was the retina logo setting after all.
I didn't suspect it since the image pick was empty.

It seems that currently importing settings imports the retina logo URL, but leaves the image pick in 'customizer' empty. To 'remove' the old logo I had to add a new retina logo and then remove it. Only then the settings were applied properly.

I would love to see that fixed since I am working a lot with import/export of GP settings.

Thx guys for the outstanding support!

Sometimes that can happen during migrations with the core WordPress image control unfortunately - I'll look into why. I'm glad you got it working! :)

Hey guys

The issue actually reappeared

I deleted the logo in the customizer + cleared cache. Yet the logo is still displayed in the front end

Even changing the logo to a different image doesn't work

edit: the logo is not displayed on mobile anymore (as desired)
yet the issue persists on desktop

Hi there,

i am seeing this logo on all browsers for desktop:

And a slight varient to that on Mobile.

Is this not correct or did you find a resolution?
