    Hi guys.

A couple of days ago I bought the theme and the truth is that it is really good, I am liking it a lot. Before doing the template change on the main web I am testing all the options on localhost. My question is: can I export all the data and import it on the main web without problems? Will colors, fonts, elements, etc be imported? Will there be a problem with the links?

    Thanks.

    Hi there,

using a plugin like Duplicator or WP All in one Import will manage that for you. It will bring across all content, theme settings as well as convert the URLs for you.

Sorry, I don’t think I have explained myself well. I don’t want to use any plugin, I just want to know if the data can be imported from the json file of a localhost to the web in production.

    Hi there,

The Customizer settings can be exported and imported in “Appearance > GeneratePress”. However, you will need to re-upload any images that were added using the Customizer once things are moved to a new URL.

Personally, I would create a staging copy of your existing site and install GP there – that way you can make it perfect before moving the staging site back to live.

Oh perfect, thank you very much. One last doubt. I need to put the following code in the template header for the whole website:

    <script async src="https://pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/js/adsbygoogle.js"></script>

I do it this way to avoid having to put the entire code of the adsense ads and improve performance. As I have been able to find out, this is done through a hook, right? I am attaching images so that you can see how I have put it and tell me if it is correct.
