    Hi Tom,

So.. I’ve had a crisis here and my hosting company have deleted my domain without telling me.

Anyway I am trying to restore / rebuild ispycool.com.

I’ve been using the importer add-on and can’t seem to get the settings back.

I have exports of all the previous settings.

It looks like ‘settings-export’json file has worked, but I am having trouble getting the other back-ups reinstalled.

I’ve been doing them in turn through the importer.

Any suggestions, advice or quick fixes?

    THANKS!
    Ben πŸ™‚

    Hi Ben,

Yikes – I’ve been dealing with hosts all day as well, ugh.

Are the files you’re imported using their original file names? They need to have the exact file name they were downloaded with in order to work.

    Let me know πŸ™‚

    Hi Tom,

    Tell me about it!

Yes they do have the same names, I just saved them out as they were exported..

Once they are all imported, will it produce the custom setting exactly as they were before?

Just trying to work out if an update has worked happened, but maybe elements have dropped out.

    Thanks πŸ™‚
    Ben

Yes, it should import the settings exactly as they were when downloaded.

If you’d like you can email me with login details and the import files, and I can see what I can figure out.

    Thanks!

Couldn’t find any issues – the files uploaded as they should, and updated your settings accordingly πŸ™‚
