[Support request] Import a custom SVG icon set

Hi, I am about to start a new build and the design requires a lot of custom icons. Is it possible to import all 250 icons and give the set a custom name?

Are you referring to importing them to the media library or GenerateBlocks?

Not sure, what I want to do is import a complete set called “Legacy icons” so as we are setting up buttons, cards, accordions, etc.. . we can just select the icon from this library and set the color in the editor. Maybe it’s different with GP/GB than what I’m used to. I’ve been building with Oxygen and we could import an icon library of SVG with no color set and access it just like we would fontawesome icons. Bring them in and size and color in the editor.

Hi Daren,

It’s possible. In GenerateBlock Pro, you can add Icons and Icons sets through the Library.

Typically, Icon sets/groups are added through .json files. Someone shared this previously: https://community.generateblocks.com/t/icon-sets-on-github/503

If you have GB Pro, you can replicate what they did and upload your Icons as a set.
