Hello
I don’t know what’s happened to my website but there are major image and menu issues.
Suddenly my logo doesn’t appear on my home page as well as the blog post images on mobile view, but appears fine on desktop view.
One of my blog post’s images throughout aren’t showing up on desktop or mobile view, but some images show and some don’t.
My menu isn’t even clickable anymore on mobile view.
I just don’t know what’s happened.
Please help.
Thank you.

StaffCustomer SupportHi there,
Any chance you can disable all plugins except GP Premium to eliminate conflicts from other plugins first?
Make sure to activate the parent theme if you are using a child theme as well.
Let me know 🙂

Okay all done.
I also can’t even customize my website at all from Appearance – Customize…

StaffCustomer SupportThis is happening with all plugins and custom functions disabled?
If so can you activate a Twenty series WP theme to test if it works there?
Let me know 🙂

Yes – the only plugin that’s activated is GP Premium.
Had a quick look at a Twenty Twenty Two theme and the same issue is there too.

That means it’s not a theme issue – we also haven’t had any other reports on this.
Can you check with your hosting support to see if they can take a look?

I can, but can you see why my menu isn’t working on mobile view? Also, after I have re-activated all my plugins it’s back to not allowing me customize my site from Appearance.

It seems to work for me. Can you disable the Site Ground optimizer?
Also, after I have re-activated all my plugins it’s back to not allowing me customize my site from Appearance.
You need to activate them one by one to identify the culprit. See #1 here:
https://docs.generatepress.com/article/debugging-tips/This cannot be a GP issue – otherwise our support forum would be flooded with this report
Therefore some proper debugging step needs to be taken.
Thanks for your understanding.

I’ve gone back and one by one activated the plugins, I can’t find the problem but suddenly I can customize!
Can you see my images including my logo on the home page?
November 30, 2022 at 8:18 pm #2443866ssc2019
Sorry but I’m still having major issues.
When I go to my website on my mobile phone, there are no images on the home page, no logo, and I can’t click on my menu or search icon, nothing happens.
When I’m on my desktop and customizing and in mobile view, it all appears to be fine there. But on my actual mobile device, the issues are there. Even the images throughout my blog posts don’t appear, but only on some?
I’ve spent all day trying to work out the problem, searching Google high and low.
Any ideas at all?

StaffCustomer SupportHi there,
i tested your site out on desktop and mobile and i am not seeing any issues.
The images are lazy loading, they sometimes take a few seconds to appear but ultimately they do appear. Can you ask a friend or colleague to check as the issue may be related to localised caching either your phone, router or ISP.

Hi David
Thank you, really appreciate you looking at my site.
The same issue was happening on my friend’s device, but using the same ISP, so I switched that off and my website mostly looks normal again although there are still a few small issues.
Is there any way I can optimize mobile website so it’s the same across all devices and ISP’s? Or not possible?
Thank you

This is not the issue.
My assumption is, the ISP/Router has cached your page, and it has yet to see any reason to flush its caches.
Caches generally get flushed a) after a certain amount of time or b) a noticeable change has happened to the origin site.In this instance it sounds like the SG Optimizer messed up the JS files when it combined them, resulting in a broken lazy loading script. And your ISP is still serving that broken JS file.
If the ISP doesn’t know there is a new file to load then it wont flush its caches.
If you disable the SG Optimizer, that should be enough of a change for your ISP to notice.
