Hi!
My website looks fine in Safari, Chrome and Firefox but when I check in Edge I can’t see a single image. It’s just an x and the alt tag instead of the images.
I tried to disable W3 total cache, Autoptimize and Lazy Load by Wp Rocket but the problem still exists. Anyone have an idea of what it is that causing the problem?
This is my site: https://xn--budgetbrllop-cjb.se/
I guess it’s not Generatepress but I asked here anyways because of all the great knowledge here.

StaffCustomer SupportHi there,
Can you try clearing all the caching plugins then disabling them first?
If that doesn’t help then try disabling all other plugins.
Also it might be a little overdo to use both W3 total cache and WP Rocket.

Yeah, maybe I have to install Windows on my Mac after all so that I can try in Edge and Explorer on my local site instead of deactivating all plugins on my live site…
Does every webmaster have both Windows and Mac OS installed to check compatibility in every browser or am I missing something?

Oh, I’ts only the Lazy Loading plugin I use not the WP Rocket caching plugin.

Lead DeveloperLead DeveloperThat’s strange – have you checked with the lazy load plugin author? Maybe try a different lazy load plugin just to test?

I found out that the problem is caused by the function Prevent Image Hotlinking in WP All in One Security. That was giving me HTTP403 forbidden for all the images.
With that setting disabled the images showed in MS Edge aswell.
It’s hard to keep checking all browsers every time you make a change on the website but I guess it’s something you have to do…
Thanks for the help!

I just wanted to add a solution of a similar issue of logo not showing up in edge.
I found that the permalink link of the logo is HTTP not HTTPS.
See the suggestion below that “… if I link to an https image rather than http, images will work in Edge”
https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Service/Images-not-showing-on-Microsoft-Edge-but-showing-in-Chrome/m-p/1704091. Check the permalink URL of the problem image in media lib
2. Use a plugin like Velvet Blues Update URLs
and update the URLs from HTTP -> https
3. Clear browser cache and the logo image is back!January 24, 2021 at 10:06 am #1631694Tom
