Hello,
Any idea how this website has a small image on the category page, ( here) http://waldenpublishing.com/category/homesteading/homestead-animals/Then a large image across the top of the post ( here)
http://waldenpublishing.com/get-good-price-homestead-produce/without having an image in the post.
I just think this looks cool and would love to implement it into my website.
Thank you

Lead DeveloperLead DeveloperHi Jan,
You can use featured images: https://generatepress.com/knowledgebase/featured-images/
Then using the Blog add-on, go to “Customize > Blog > Post Images” to set the size.
The full image size will appear in the post itself.
Let me know if you need more info π

Hi Tom,
I did this in the but it doesn’t look anything like the site I like the look of.
Every category has an image below the header and above the content and side bars.
http://waldenpublishing.com/category/financial/and so does every post.
http://waldenpublishing.com/switching-track-richer-life-experience/with clickable links in the image to connect to the rest of the category.
I was trying to see if it’s a plug in or something but couldn’t figure it out.
Is there a way to get this look with css or something?Thank you again

Lead DeveloperLead DeveloperHi Jan,
So you’re trying to add the image as full width background image behind the post title?
This can be built manually using the Page Header add-on, but it’s not possible to do this automatically with the options yet.
It is an option I’m working on π

Hi Tom,
This is so cool.
I played with it on a page. I have lots to learn to make it look awesome like yours. π
I couldn’t get it to work on a post.
Is it possible?
Thank you
Again.

Lead DeveloperLead DeveloperIt’s the same thing on a post – there’s the same metabox which you can play with as on pages π

I tried playing with it but it didn’t work.

I used the same settings as I did on the page that I got it to work.
Right now an image should be up as well as the words.Thank you

Lead DeveloperLead DeveloperI’m seeing the words “info in content box” but no image.
Do you have “Use image background” turned on?

Hi Tom,
Posts – Yes, on the content setting I have add background image slid to green on the content settings button.
There is nothing but the content words “info in content box”I have screen shots, but don’t see where to attach them this far into the link.
I’ve made sure my wordpress, generatepress and addons were up dated.
Not sure if it means anythign but I kept getting a failure for updating the addons. I ended up deleting the add on plug in and uploading the new version from your website.Thank you I appreciate teh help!
