Image Won't Go Wide Width Anymore

I cannot see the alignwide class being added to the <img> HTML which is what should happen when that option is selected in the Block Editor.

But the img HTML is being altered by the optimole ( lazy load ) - what happens if you temporarily disable that ?

Oh, why would Optimole prevent it from being widewidth?

If I deactivate it, won't it have a negative impact, as it is meant to be optimising my images.

When you add the Wide Width option to an image it appends the alignwide class to <img> HTML - thats a core function of WordPress. In this instance that is not happening.

So the first thing to check is if the HTML is being interfered with - in this case the <img> HTML is being altered by Optimole - I cannot say if that is the cause of the problem but its quite easy to eliminate it as the cause by temporarily disabling it.

If you can try that - Edit a post and republish it - then clear any plugin / browser caches to see if it works. If it does then we know its the plugin causing the issue - if it doesn't then we need to look elsewhere.

Hi, I disabled it, and that fixed the issue. But what should I do? Because I want to use Optimole but I also want the wide image.

Try re-enabling the plugin now - it may have been a glitch or if the wide width was added after the post was published it may have 'cached' the old HTML.

If that doesn't work then you would need to speak with Optimole support as thats a core WP Function ( not the Theme ) that adds the alignwide class.

Optimole is still disabled, I haven't turned it back on since the last I commented. But it's doing the same issue again, so I guess it wasn't Optimole causing it after all? What should I try next?

Yes that post is fine because it's already been done, but if I create a new post the same issue happens. It won't extend wide width.

I've made this one as a test, and as you can see it's doing the same thing :/

You definitely need to clear cache before disabling cache plugin. Make sure you clear all cache from all the cache plugins if you have more than one cache plugin.

As you can see, there's still cache in your site.

Please try:
1. Activate the cache plugin.
2. Clear cache.
3. Disable the cache plugin.
4. Clear your browser cache to see the result.
