Image Menu

How do I create an image menu? Not really a menu necessarily, but images that click to go to a different page.
For example, on this page the Nextdoor, Facebook, Yelp, etc images that are clickable on this page and lead to a different page?

I'd want to probably do it as a GP Hook on the home page only. I know how to do that, but I don't know the best option for creating it as a clickable image that goes to different pages.

Hooks actually overcomplicate things like this.
Are you using the block editor?
If so I would recommend using the Grid blocks from GenerateBlocks:
