Image height on hover/active menu

Hi,

For this site: http://tt.poiterdesign.eu/ I have a background image for the menu, but I would like when you hover or the menu is active, the background color is as heigh as the menu background. So it doesn't need to stick out or maybe only as high as the logo.
Is this posible?

Hi Leo,

Thanks for your reply. Was thinking to difficult. Made the menu 100px high and made the background menu image also 100px high with the red background 60px high and 20px transparant on top and bottom. But the simplest way is ofcourse; the background image 60px heigh and the menu also 60px and make the logo bigger :-)
