    Hi
    I want to create a full screen image with the menu floating on my Home page.
    I was able to do it days ago with the Header option of Elements.
    Then I tried to place a slide and it didn’t go well. Now I try to put a still image as in the beginning but I DON’T SEE ANYTHING
    I’m doing something wrong.
    Can you help me please?
    Do you need my personal data acces?

    Thank you very much

    Hi there,

    Do you not have any content on the page linked?

    Can you make sure to go through this article here?
    https://docs.generatepress.com/article/how-to-create-a-page-hero/

    You can also duplicate this simple example to start with:

    Let me know 🙂

    Hi Leo,
    Yo are right, I didn´t have any content because I only wanted an image 😉
    I have a problem with the image (the same that when I put an slider).
    I don’t know what to do to make the image fit all the screens
    I get a white margin below and I also have to scroll in someone screens…

    Thank you!

    In that case, perhaps it would be better to ditch the page hero and do this:

    body.home {
        background-image: url( 'URL TO YOUR IMAGE' );
        background-size: cover;
        min-height: 100vh;
    }

    Let me know 🙂

    Hi Leo,

    I’m sorry because I’m going to change the question, but what I really want is to have a full screen slide. I do not know how to do it. I have try with several plugins (Soliloquy, Smart Slider 3…) and I put the shortcode in the Elements content but it doesn’t work well. The slide is very small and does not fit well full screen. Do you recommend any plugin and some CSS? And should you put it in Elements to keep the menu integrated?

    I want something like this: https://toniricart.com

    Thank you very much

    In order to have a full screen slider, you need to make sure the slider itself (from the plugin) is full screen. Then you can just add the shortcode into the page hero content as it is.

    Header element cannot change the size of the slider as it’s determined by the slider plugin.

    Let me know if this makes sense 🙂

    Unfortunately I’m not sure which slider plugin offers full-screen option.

    Have you tried checking with the slider plugin support and see if they are able to help?
