Hi Tom – Our images folder is here . . ./wp-content/themes/generatepress/images/
It gets deleted with each premium update. . .
It might be an old dir from previous theme that I just carried over, but is there a better place to put generate press images or move them to so that they do not get deleted each time I update GP premium?

Hi Tim.
Hmm the images and other media you’ve added using WordPress Add Media should be stored in wp-content folder and not with the theme so it’s transferable.
How are you adding the images currently?

Nothing custom should be added in the generatepress or gp-premium directories. Those folders are deleted and re-uploaded by WordPress when you update.
