[Resolved] image effect – hover different sections, modal with text

Hi GeneratePressers,

I have been trying to build this effect with Elementor and Premium Addons. But to be honest, I really dont like Elementor and I love GeneratePress and GenerateBlocks so I was hoping for some help here so I can put Elementor to a neverending sleep,

I have an image that acts as a header image, but I would like to have an effect when you hover over the persons in the image you get a little text/modal/popup with their skill. Do you guys know how to manage this or maybe you can recommend me some plugin that works with GeneratePress?

You would likely need a custom code for this. I believe it would be first best to ask on our Facebook page for recommendations for solutions to this: https://www.facebook.com/groups/1113359788719597

For plugins, you can try image mapping plugins. I found this article which might help: https://wptablebuilder.com/best-image-mapping-wordpress-plugins/ You’ll likely need one that works with background images.
