Hi guys
What's the best way to place a featured image banner( with a hyperlink to another site)
below all my posts? Ideally I would like to rotate several ( they're for sponsored but one is enough, which I can replace from time to time. I'm doing my best to keep everything native to GP rather than adding plugins
Hi there,
you could create a single banner using the Block Element:

You can hook it into several places in the theme:
perfect, thanks a million
You're welcome
Hi David.
Just for your interest .
I'm using the Classic editor plugin and the site is defaulted at Classic editor.
I note that when I switch to block editor 'prior' to naming and saving the element, the 'settings' module is renamed "display rules" and 'block type, hook, and priority' options are invisible.
However if I name and save the element firstly in classic editor mode, and then switch to block editor, the "settings" tab name remains, with all the options.
No biggie, but wondering is this just an anomaly related to using the classic editor plugin?
Hi there,
Likely related to the classic editor plugin - I'm surprised Block Elements work at all with it active. I'll take a look :)
