[Resolved] iframe tag in Page header content

I am experimenting with the blog page header content. Help for imput field says “HTML and shortcodes are allowed”. Then, following code should work, shouldn’t it?

Just want to make sure that is not inserted in the meta box on the blog page? WordPress ignores all meta box on index pages by default.

If so try using the blog page header in the customizer: https://docs.generatepress.com/article/blog-page-header/

I think your link has some wrong quotation marks. Just tried this and it works:
<iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/5dezYhcir0g" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

The code with a questionmark was copied from YouTube share window. Anyway, as soon as I paste your code into customizer nothing happens. When I hit publish and close customizer and revert back the whole iframe tage is gone. Other HTML works just fine.

Hmm, interesting. In GPP 1.4, you won’t need to add your blog page header using the Customizer, so this will likely be a non-issue.

You can try the beta by enabling beta updates as Leo mentioned above 🙂
