Using Elements to set background hero image but it will not pull in H1 tags from IDXBroker from the subdomain.
I’ve done it with other themes and H1 always gets pulled in but can’t seem to get GeneratePress to do it.
Thank you.

StaffCustomer SupportHi there,
how would you normally display the H1 from the IDXbroker ?

In the past the theme just automatically brought in the H1. This site I did on Genesis, difference is the H1 is not overlaid on hero image. https://realestate.thegoodlifenaples.com/i/olde-naples-homes-and-cottages

StaffCustomer SupportI assume that the H1 is being displayed correctly on the page content?
Their documentation doesn’t give anything away – could you ask their support if its possible to call the title from the current page ?

I will ask; they usually not very helpful, they just take their money from the clients and offer no help. But I’ll give it a try. Thank you.

StaffCustomer SupportAre you referring to the page hero?
The background image link is absolute by default:

StaffCustomer SupportThey also said: Have you tried to just do it with CSS or JS?
The subheader is in the IDX-main div which is in the div for entry-content which is below the hero image
Not sure if I understand? Is there a specific page I should be looking at?

StaffCustomer SupportOk so just to make sure, in that page hero, you are using the template tag?

Yes, in elements header using
<h1>
{{post_title}}

It’s probably a wild good chase as IDXBroker you have to set a page wrapper, and I can get it to show the page wrapper name over the hero but not the post title. I hate to have you spend time on this.

The whole idea I’m going after is to have the h1 title come up automatically over hero on the IDXBroker pages like it does for non-IDXBroker like here: https://finestnaples.com/area-guides/
If I can figure this out would be happy to make a BB/GeneratePress theme for you out of it.
