    Hi,

I just noticed on my site that the font awesome icons are showing as squares:

https://kitsunecreative.co/ (if you scroll to my footer you’ll see them there on this page)

I use Elementor Pro along with GP Pro. Everything is up to date, I’ve tried clearing the cache as well as re-adding new icons from scratch but still the issue is happening…

    Thanks,
    Sophie

    Hi there,

    How are you loading FontAwesome?

The theme itself doesn’t load it:
    https://docs.generatepress.com/article/load-essentials-icons/

I’d assume installing the plugin would solve the issue:

Hi Leo, thanks for getting back to me so quickly…it’s through Elementor Pro

Also nevermind – I found the fix (they were somehow turned off in the Elementor settings!)

    Hi Sophie,
I am having the same problem. I ticked the box under Settings>Advanced to load the Font Awesome icons, but I am not having any success. Do you mind telling me what you did to correct the problem? Where in Elementor did you go to fix it?

    Thank you,
    Brenda

Hi Brenda – I just needed to tick the box in Elementor which fixed it.

Perhaps try re-adding the icons again and then also making sure you clear your cache to see if this fixes it?

    Hi Brenda,

Can you open a new topic for your site? So you can use the private information text field to provide us the necessary details.

    Thank you. 🙂
